Hello, subscriber!
Where is your power? What do you do with it? How does it help you transform yourself?

The key to all these questions is lurking in your 8th House. Whatever sign and planets are there, they point to your ultimate power. It is also where you are transformed (provided you are willing, of course! 😀) into the powerful being you were meant to be.

The 8th House, sign, planets, and all, points to your powers. The most profound transformation happens here. You let all thoughts of weakness die so that you are reborn in your power. Victim? Perpetrator? No need to do so when you acknowledge your power. True power lies in acknowledging that you are Spirit, by recognizing who you are, and by letting all the littleness fall away. It is the truth of your existence - life-changing and profound.

This is what the 8th House requires of you - to be true to yourself, to go beyond the surface, and to find what hides behind the shadows of the unconscious. This is where you carry deep memory of who you are. It is your personal Scorpio energy, your door to your power.

Great power also comes with great responsibility, and therefore you meet your greatest fears here in the 8th House. Fear of misusing that power. Fear of letting that power slip away from your control. The more power, the stronger the control over it must be. You need to exert the most control with your greatest power.

Are you applying your control appropriately? Do you own your power and use it to uplift, create, grow, and improve? Or do you misuse and waste that control on little, meaningless tasks? Scorpio and the 8th House give you the urge for truth and meaning. You would need that truth-seeking weather vane if you were to arrive at your powers. Without truth compelling you to honesty and dispelling illusions, you are doomed to linger and misuse your resources.

Today, Sun entered Scorpio, the 8th House for our planetary home. It brings its light to illuminate all issues of the 8th House for us all on the planet - power, truth, control, and our shared resources and environment.

So what can you do about it? A lot of Scorpio/Kidney Function Energy, I guess! 😀

You can also find the energy in your 8th House and tap into it for spiritual transformation and empowerment. Check with the first chapter of our Cycles workbook for what activities and JSJ flows align with that energy. If Aries is on the 8th, starting new projects, being yourself, and doing things for yourself are the things. If Taurus, you need simplicity, being in Nature, working in your garden, connection with life and growth, etc.

Next, find which house hosts Scorpio in your chart. Check with the Cycles workbook to see the keywords for that house. What activities and aspects of your life call for truth, courage, and empowerment? For example, if in the 4th House, it will be related to your home and family. If in the 5th House - joy, creativity, and fun.

This month, give yourself Scorpio/Kidney FE flow frequently, especially on the days when the Moon is in that part of the sky. The positions of the Moon by day are given at the bottom of this letter.

Kidney Function Energy Left Side
Hold the left little toe and the left foot middle of the sole.

Kidney Function Energy Right Side
Hold the right little toe and the right foot middle of the sole.

If you are familiar with Qi Gong - the middle of the sole is the location of the "Bubbling Well." If you do not wish to reach the foot and toes, open Safety Energy Lock 13 by placing your hands on your upper chest. SEL 13 has a profound connection with the 8th Scorpio/Kidney Function Energy and is easier to reach. Or place your hands on the pubic bone and the coccyx. That position directly harmonizes several other FE, including Spleen and Main Central, so why not?

Power to you!
Tatiana

Upcoming Lab Classes

Labs are practical hands-on classes where we discuss a small topic and pore over our charts to gain insight into our subconscious and to fine-tune our JSJ self-help practice.

November Topic: Sun sign versus Ascendant Sign.
November Lab dates
Saturday, Nov. 5, 2 pm - 3 pm US EDT
Monday, Nov. 14, 8 pm - 9 pm US EDT
Same topics but two different days to accommodate people in different time zones.

In our October lab, students suggested looking at the introvert-extrovert contrast in our charts. An interesting and intriguing idea, so I gave it some thought. We all have extrovert energies (Aries, Leo) and introvert energies (Pisces, Cancer), and many others in between. So, what makes one person different from another? To narrow down the topic and not bite more than what we can swallow, let us look at the Sun versus Ascendant energy in our chart. What do they stand for? What is the difference? And if we all have extrovert and introvert energies, why do some appear extroverted while others are more introverted?

Do you plan to attend more than one lab? Would you like to register at a reduced cost and access the recordings of all previous labs? Then, a subscription might be a better option for you.
