Thank you so much for this. It was a very powerful flow for me and something that I apparently really needed. I have now idea how long it took me. I just held each step for a long time. I did it the way it was written, then reversed the flow, starting out with my left hand on my right S.E.L. 11. I had a lot of pulsation more noticeably on my left side but generally on and around my thoracic and lumbar spine. At one point when I had my left hand on SEL 11 and right hand on S.E.L. 14, I felt my whole body vibrate. I have never had an experience like this before doing self-help. I love that it is so easy to remember. Blessings ~ Michelle

    1. Hi Michelle,

I am glad that you enjoyed the experience. You are right – the more we need a particular harmonizing sequence the more dramatic it feels. The sequence that I gave here is based on Mary Burmeister’s Textbook 2 Harmonizing Heart Function Energy.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I loved reading your story.

I am glad for travelguide to healing on jinshin jyutsu. please let me know the real benefits of seven perfect steps. Is it told by murai or mary burmeister. let me know please

    1. Hi Srinivas,

This sequence harmonizes Heart Function Energy. To my knowledge, there is little on this topic in Mary’s textbooks. In her Textbook 2, on the page of Heart Function Energy (p. 18), there are very few symptoms due to disharmony – eyes becoming yellowish and palm feverish. In fact, many symptoms that we usually associate with discomfort in our physical heart appear on the pages of other Function Energy – Kidney and Diaphragm, for instance. I was inspired to write the Seven Perfect Steps by Wayne Hackett who encourages all students in his classes to work with the keywords for the Safety Energy Locks and meditate over their meaning and symbolism.

After researching what Yoga and TCM have to say on this topic, I also have a sense that Heart Function Energy protects us against subtle but destructive foreign influences. Harmonized Heart Function Energy ensures that we are present, comfortable about who we are, and are the star of our existence.

On a practical note, I have used the sequence to harmonize Heart Function Energy when someone (a) needs joy in their life; (b) needs to connect with their inner child; (c) have Saturn in Leo in their astrological chart.

      I hope this helps.

Hi, Is seven perfect steps are enough to do routine for complete health of body. Let me know please

    1. I do not know of any JSJ flow that can keep our body in complete health if our thoughts are not healed first. If you are asking for a good daily routine, however, the one I started with is given in Mary Burmeister’s Self Help Book I (page 39) and the Touch of Healing Book (page 133). The practice consists of three sequences: the Anterior Ascending, the Anterior Descending, and the Posterior Descending Function Energy.
