Gall Bladder FE Harmonization for Cold Extremities?

I was recently told by an intuitive counselor—someone not familiar with either Jin Shin Jyutsu or Traditional Chinese Medicine—that harmonizing Gall Bladder FE might help with my cold hands and feet. She offered just two key words that came through intuitively: damp heat.

We do not use that language in JSJ, but I know TCM does. So I became curious: what might that actually point to?

From what I have been able to gather (with a bit of help from ChatGPT), TCM describes daily energy circulation in three depths: surface, middle, and deep. That maps quite naturally onto the JSJ framework. The Gall Bladder belongs to the Third Depth and is associated with the Middle Body energy (Textbook 2, p. 4).

From there, things get more interesting. In TCM, Spleen is often said to process dampness, yet the distribution of heat through the body—especially toward the extremities—appears to involve the middle layer of circulation, and specifically GB. Why not Liver?

So far, my information is very theoretical—based on internet searches performed by an AI model. So I am running a small experiment.

I have begun harmonizing the Gall Bladder function energy daily, which is not a bad idea in general, as my body lately has been developing a lot of aches along the GB pathway—from lateral headaches and stuffiness in the SEL 14 area to side hip and upper thigh tension, and even wobbly, achy ankles. All GB pointers. I also mix in a dash of Mudra 1 and on the to do list is to incorporate the Third Method self-help as it harmonizes the Mediator-MCV relation and both 3rd and 6th Depths.

I will report back after some time and see whether there is any change in my hands and feet. But I have a question for you:

How many consecutive days would you give a flow like this before deciding whether it is truly making a difference?

PS. Have you seen my favorite JSJ self-help flows for a good night sleep? I collected them in this mini-series of emails: https://effortless-reality.kit.com/jsj-sleep

Philomena suggested to me to do the Umbilicus Flow (the full one) for 10 days, twice per day. I was having some back issues close to my spine. I see the post above mine that says 21 days; I’ve also heard that though I had forgotten.
