At 12 a.m. (midnight), at the center of the lower eyelid, Umbilicus Function Energy becomes Gall Bladder Function Energy, which immediately separates into two main branches.

Branch (a) circulates back and forth around the cheekbone toward the eyebrow, loops back around the ear, and reappears at the forehead, continuing around the back of the head [T2, p.32, 2a]. At the back of the head, this branch divides again: one flow enters the acromion, while the other moves diagonally from the first thoracic vertebra (TV1) toward the back of the shoulder joint, descending into the chest. There, it splits once more—one sub-branch flowing into the stomach and the other into the umbilicus.

Branch (b) descends directly from the center of the lower eyelid down the cheekbone to the front of the shoulder. The left flow of this branch travels through the liver and gallbladder, while the right passes through the spleen and pancreas.
